Company History

Trivent Systems was established in 2002 as a software and services organization. The company was founded in Pennsylvania by Sam Senguttuvan, an IT professional from the U.S. In 2003, the global delivery center of Trivent was set up in Chennai India to conduct off-shore litigation support. Trivent’s success continued, and in 2005 Trivent launched its KPO services to provide off-shore equity research services. In no time Trivent opened a second office in Chennai to meet the requirements of its growing client base.

Following Trivent’s initial success, Trivent's existing client base expressed a strong interest in off-shore legal services. That marked the beginning of yet another journey for Trivent. Trivent Legal, the LPO division of Trivent was set up in early 2007, providing various off-shore services including but not limited to litigation document review, contract abstraction, legal research and personal injury case management. Trivent is now ready for a massive growth both in terms of its client base and its operations team.

SAM - CEO

Senguttuvan Shanmugham, or Sam" as he is commonly known, has more than 15 years experience in the IT industry. His experience includes building an off-shore software development center in India for a leading remittance software company based out of Blue Bell, PA. His expertise includes project management, product development and product support. He has managed multi-million dollar remittance projects for various organizations including government and fortune 500 companies in the United States.

Sam also has expertise in setting up processes for complex systems. He has worked extensively in environments that required huge data, network and manual security. Sam is an excellent team player and also instrumental in launching innovative KPO solutions. His education includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Madras University and a M.S. in Computer Science from University of New Haven. Currently he is the CEO of Trivent and leads the KPO and the LPO activities in Chennai from Trivent’s U.S. office.

ROY DIXON - VP of Sales

Mr. Dixon has spent over 20 years in the Legal Market. Before moving into sales he programmed and installed software in Major Law Firms in both the US & Canada. As Area Sales Manager with Barrister Information Systems, he managed 10 offices through out the Central and Southern US. His General Management experience includes product management, launching new products and acquiring other companies. He has also worked for several Service Bureaus selling Imaging Services, Web Hosting, Archival Systems and Off-shore Services.

LOUIS S. NUECHTERLEIN J.D. - Midwest Regional Manager

Louis graduated from the University of Detroit's School of Law. His undergraduate work was at Michigan State University. While working for the IRS, he prepared and conducted tax prosecution trials for the US Department of Justice. He then spent over 20 years working in the Department of Revenue for the State of Illinois. He managed major tax cases involving large corporations nationwide. He also researched statutes, decisions and judgments. His office is in Chicago.

APURV MAJUMDAR - AVP of Legal Services

Apurv graduated from the Calcutta University Law College in 1991. His undergraduate work was in Commerce and Business Organization. He practiced law independently as a litigator and appearing counsel in the High Court at Calcutta in civil suits, civil appeals, testamentary proceedings, motor accident claim cases, contractual disputes, and cases under the Specific Relief Act dealing with the law of equitable relief in India. He has a good command of the English language coupled with the capacity to produce high quality drafts of complaints, petitions and motions. Thereafter, Apurv joined one of the top ranking LPOs in India. In the LPO industry he has proved his mettle in areas like litigation document review, legal drafting, case law research, contract abstraction, summarizing judicial decisions, contract management and workflow management. Apurv is extremely creative and always open to new ideas. He is an excellent team player. He efficiently hires trains and manages large teams of attorneys. Currently he heads the LPO Operations at Trivent Legal in his capacity as the AVP of Legal Service.

BERNADETTE BUCKLEY J.D. - Manager of U.S. Legal Services

Bernadette graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 1990. Her undergraduate work was in Communications and Business Administration. She has practiced law with several firms in Philadelphia and also worked for the United States Bankruptcy Court. She has conducted research pertaining to issues in many areas of law including, but not limited to, family law, corporate law, personal injury, and attorney conflict of interest. She has also done work in the areas of health and welfare, social security, landlord/tenant law, property and insurance law matters. In addition to reviewing our off-shore work, she is also available to do Legal Research.
