Trivent was established in 2002. The company was founded in Pennsylvania by Sam Senguttuvan, an IT professional from the U.S.  In 2003, the global delivery center of Trivent was set up in Chennai India.  In 2004, Roy Dixon was hired as Vice President of U.S. Sales. In 2005, Trivent opened a second office in Chennai to meet the requirements of its growing client base.

Trivent primarily provides medical and legal support services to U.S. law firms. It employs both physicians and lawyers.  Trivent also provides document coding for litigation cases. Trivent is now experiencing massive growth both in terms of its client base and its medical team.
