Objective Coding
Objective coding is the process by which skilled and trained document specialists review every document and prepare a computerized index of basic objective data about each document. You determine the number of fields that we should capture. Many firms choose standard bibliographic coding which captures date, title, author, recipient, copyee, and document type.
Unitization or Logical Document Determination (LDD)
LDD is the process of determining document boundaries and capturing the beginning and ending bates number for each document and attachment.
Subjective Coding
Subjective coding is the process in which the coder seeks key information from the document, analyses it and makes a short summary of the document.
